The Duke of Cumberland is first and foremost, a traditional English Country Inn. Built in 1749 the Inn is named after the Duke of Cumberland, commander of the English Army that put down the Jacobite rebellion at the battle of Culloden in 1746. The Duke is reputed to have trained his troops in the surrounding countryside.

This is the perfect place for the weary travelers or those looking to relax in a comfortable environment with a convivial atmosphere.
